I'm Kathryn H., the breeder behind Alpine Bernedoodles located in Montrose, CO. Welcome to Alpine Bernedoodles, we are located in beautiful southwestern Colorado in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. I have been a Veterinary Technician for over 16 years and it is my passion to produce exceptional quality Bernedoodles.
Q. & A. with Kathryn
Why did you start breeding?
When I began breeding Bernedoodles in 2014, I was one of the first few breeders in the United States. Through my experience at the vet clinic, I had the opportunity to be mentored by one of the top breeders in the country.
Becoming a breeder only furthered my passion to develop the best and healthiest pups I can. With my knowledge and resources, I know dogs inside and out. This gives me the opportunity to offer my families a life time of support and if I don’t know the answer, I can find it.
What makes your program special?
I am committed to breeding for excellent health, confirmation and sound temperament. My bernedoodles are bred with responsibility and integrity to be cherished family companions. Every puppy is raised with attention to physical and mental health, and nurtured with love and care.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include tiny, mini, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable, black and white, tri-color, phantom, and merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
