I'm Andrea L., the breeder behind Andrea Lockwood located in El Mirage, AZ. We breed for conformation and personality. Our dogs have their eyes, hip, thyroid, and heart tested before we decide to breed. We believe Great Danes are, quite possibly, the greatest pets in the world. Their gentle temperament and easy-going personalities make them the perfect choice for family pets!
Q. & A. with Andrea
Why did you start breeding?
My very first dog was a blue Great Dane. He changed my whole world. I had no intention of breeding until I got Rufus. It was because of him that I knew I needed to give people the joy of this amazing dog. I can happily say, it has worked! People love their pups so very much. I am glad I am giving them what my first pup gave me.
What makes your program special?
We have an open-door policy. Parents are on site. I allow people to come to see their pups anytime. We also have a live YouTube feed so people can see their puppies, or just watch and see who they like the most. I love what I do and truly want the very best for my puppies and their forever families.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include merlequin, black and white, fawn, blue, harlequin, mantle, merle, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
