I'm Lois C., the breeder behind Anew Australian Shepherds located in Mena, AR. I am a small breeding kennel, all my dogs have DNA and OFA done before breeding. Our Australian Shepherds are well-rounded and we are dedicated to finding loving forever homes for each of our puppies.

Why did you start breeding?
When I was 18 years old I bought my first Reg. Aussie female, she was over 2 yreas old the first and the only time I bred her. A close friend of my Father helped me, Bill and Beverly Bixler.What makes your program special?
I try to produce the best that I can, Pedigree, Healthwise, temperament, all pups are raised in my home.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
