I'm Beverly P., the breeder behind AZSunshine Papillons located in Tucson, AZ. We are proud AKC Breeders With H.E.A.R.T. and have been breeding dogs since 1972. We strive to produce dogs that are beautiful to look at and a joy to live with. Our emphasis is, and always will be, on the temperament of the dogs we produce.
Q. & A. with Beverly
Why did you start breeding?
Jack and I met in early 2009. We discovered very early on that we shared something wonderful, our love of dogs. I owned a Papillon and my family has owned Papillons since the late 1970's. In my late teens, I trained and showed my parent's Papillons (Angel and Adam). Jack was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in January 2020 and we decided to downsize our breeding program. Now, I only breed and show Papillons.
What makes your program special?
We do health tests that are recommended by the parent clubs (plus a couple more) to ensure that you are getting a sound and healthy puppy. Puppies are socialized and can make great companions, family pets or even therapy or service dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
