I'm Jodi C., the breeder behind Basset Hound Puppies of Michigan located in Novi, MI. We have been breeding for 15 years. We invest an enormous amount of time with the puppies. We hold them every day, clip their nails once a week, get them used to water once a week, they get used to a daily vacuum, multiple toys, we start potty training at 4wks old. They live in our living room the first 4wks of life and then live in our kitchen with access to a sliding glass door and a full fenced in yard. They all get vet checked before going home as well as AKC & CKC registered. They’re all microchipped. They also get their first set of shots and are dewormed before going home. We do puppy culture here. We love love love our puppies. We keep in touch with all of our families….once you get one of our puppies you’re family! We do a yearly “family reunion”. We would love to have you chat with ANY one of our families as a reference!

About Lettie
Lettie is the perfect basset hound. Markings are perfect, ears forever, wide chest, kankles galore, extra skin (so much on her face that you can’t see her eyes sometimes! lol). She loves neck scratches. She thinks every animal & human is ONLY on this earth to say hello to her. She loves everyone & everthing. She will cry for hello pets & if you’re coming into the house she might bring you a “baby” (shoe, sock, toy, piece of paper…anything within reach & close). She will run a 5k with me, but won’t “ask” to run. She’s equally content laying on the couch or sunbathing. She has a puppy that has won a blue ribbon in the show ring, a couple of puppies doing shed work & getting their therapy puppy certifications.
