Q. & A. with Adrienne
Why did you start breeding?
I got my first Aussie 14 yrs ago his name was Jockamo. I was familiar with the breed, however no one could have ever explained to me the bond and love I would have with this dog. I had grown up with dogs and other animals my whole life but nothing could compare to the loyalty and intelligence of my boy. He taught me alot. I took what I learned and apply it to how I raise my own dogs and litters of puppies. I can't stress enough to new Aussie owners training and socialization are so important for you and your puppy.
What makes your program special?
I believe what makes my breeding program special is the time we put into every puppy from the day they are born until the day they goto their new homes. We give a lifetime of breeder support and are always available to our new puppy families. I build a bond with every puppy and love seeing pictures and getting feed back on all our puppies.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
