I'm Vicki R., the breeder behind Calabria Basset Hounds located in Minong, WI. I strive to produce quality puppies that are structurally sound, healthy, intuitive and have wonderful temperaments. As a breeder, I feel a sense of responsibility to prioritize each of my puppies’ overall health and temperament and to ensure that they are loved and well cared for before joining their forever homes.

Why did you start breeding?
I am purposeful in everything I do regarding my dogs, including careful selection of breeding dogs and extensive health testing. My goal is to produce healthy dogs with great temperaments and conformation that are exemplary representations of the breed.What makes your program special?
My dogs and puppies are considered members of my family, and they get the best care I can provide. My commitment is to provide you with a professional and friendly puppy-buying experience. That includes always having responsible practices for breeding, training, and rehoming my puppies. I am very dedicated to what I do and what I aim to achieve as a breeder. I work with passion, heart, and integrity, and I truly want what's best for the Basset Hound line.Where do your breeding dogs live?
