I specialize in Chinese Cresteds, and my breeding philosophy centers around health, temperament, and the overall well-being of each dog. I believe in responsible breeding practices and ensure that all my dogs receive the best care, nutrition, and socialization.What makes your program special?
In many breeding manuals, books, programs, and classes you will see it said " Do not get attached to your breeding stock". I don't believe this is ethical or moral. ALL dogs deserve love and they all are pets. Here at Charming Cresteds every dog in our program is a very much loved and pampered pet - if not in my home, in a specially chosen guardian home.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our Chinese Crested puppies have powderpuff coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Chinese Crested puppies include sable, chocolate, cream, and black and white. Pug puppies include black, fawn, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Program update on 23 Aug. •…Odette ran into an ant hill and even after several baths, I ended up shaving her to remove ALL of the ants. The vet said she only had a single bite. It's these moments that I can't help but laugh and love the dogs even more. This makes me smile.

Litter update on 20 Aug. •…They're so cute! 🥺 I'm thinking they'll all have pretty calm personalities (too early to really tell). They're doing SO well too, already getting used to being handled regularly and abruptly.

He loves to run, jump, and play! Although he doesn't mind being a lap dog and cuddling, he truly seems to enjoy playing 'tag'(I chase him, he chases me) quite a bit! He has a fun, silly, sweet and spunky personality. Never meets a stranger!

Eye Certification (SHOR)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

My experience with Good Dog and Mimi with Charming Cresteds Kennels was nothing but positive. Everything was handled so smoothly with Good Dog and all payments through them. Mimi was very responsive from our first interaction to the day I flew to Houston to pick up the puppy. I can tell how well taken care of Mimi’s puppies were. Sprite (now called Gracie) is so loving and cuddly. I can see that Mimi gave a lot of attention to her puppies. Gracie is very healthy and a treasure to have. I would recommend Good Dog and Mimi to anyone.

I had an incredible experience with Charming Cresteds Kennels! After a tough time with another breeder and having to return a puppy due to numerous issues, I found Mimi, and she was a breath of fresh air. She was open and honest, answered all my questions, and even provided dog food and the necessary paperwork. I appreciated having her number to text if I had any concerns. When I brought my sweet girl home, I could immediately see the love and effort that went into her breeding. She was already potty-pad trained and adjusted well to her kennel!
