Planned Golden Retriever litter
Due July 2026
I'm Rachelle M., the breeder behind Chrysus Spirit Goldens located in Buckley, WA. We are a small, hands-on kennel with a limited but carefully planned program. Each breeding is designed with two priorities in mind: raising puppies with strong social skills through the Avidog protocol and strengthening the long-term genetic health of the Golden Retriever breed. Our puppies are best suited for active homes that enjoy training, exercise, and including their Golden in everyday family life.

Why did you start breeding?
What makes your program special?
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Akari had her "date" with Coach last week! I've been sending regular updates via email, however it has come to my attention that emails don't seem to route to my GoodDog folks! So if you haven't seen these emails please message me. Thank you!

Just some fun in the mud pics of Akari! We are still eagerly waiting for her next heat cycle to start. Hopefully very soon!! The wait-list and backup wait-list is full, but we are taking applications for 2027.

Our Akari "Ferrari" did a great job at the FastCat races again! Just another race closer to her BCAT! Also wanted to give a huge shout-out to everyone on the wait-lists, I'm so excited for this next litter ❤️

Who needs a red sports car when you have Akari, our very own "Ferrari," burning up the FastCAT course?! She brought all the speed and smiles last weekend. So proud of this speedy girl!

Akari is a FastCat natural!! Had so much fun at the local show!

Can't believe the Red Fruits and Flowers litter are already 12 weeks! Pups are all doing so well. Here's a wonderful pup update from "Rose Pink 🩷 Girl) "12 weeks old today! Penny is getting so big so fast. She weighed in at 18.8 lbs this morning and is doing so well. She's such a sweet, smart, fun, loving girl and is SUCH a social butterfly. She's perfect. Hope you and Akari know how much joy you've brought into my life!" 😭

Another week, another milestone! Our pups are 9 weeks old now and continuing to grow and flourish in their loving homes. So happy for them all! 🌱

This Sunday, our adorable Red Fruits and Flower litter officially turns 8 weeks old! It's hard to believe how quickly the time has flown. From tiny, helpless pups to playful, curious little characters, they've grown and learned so much. Their little personalities are really starting to shine, and they are becoming more independent and ready for their next adventure, heading to their forever homes starting this Sunday! We've cherished every moment with this sweet group and are so excited for them to bond with their new families. Bringing a new puppy home is a joyful time, and we wanted to share a few quick tips to help ensure a smooth transition: Settling In: Provide a quiet, comfortable space for your puppy initially, like a cozy crate or a corner with a soft bed. This helps them feel secure in their new environment. First Nights: Be prepared for some whining during the first few nights. It's a big change for them! You can help by putting their bed or crate near your bedroom, providing a comfort item that smells like their littermates (if available), or using a white noise machine. Housetraining Basics: Consistency is key! Take your puppy outside frequently, first thing in the morning, last thing at night, after waking from naps, after playing, and after eating and drinking. Celebrate successes with praise and a small treat. Continued Socialization: The critical socialization window is still open! Safely expose your puppy to a variety of new sights, sounds, people, and vaccinated dogs in a positive way to help them become well-adjusted adults. We are so proud of these little Red Fruits and Flowers and can't wait to see them blossom in their new homes. We'll be sending them off with lots of love and best wishes! ❤️❤️

✨ Update from the Puppy Pen! ✨ I’m so excited to share that all the puppies in Ember x Akari’s Fruit & Flower litter are officially reserved! 💛🍒🌸 Thank you to each and every one of you who has joined the Chrysus Spirit family! I feel so lucky to be working with such thoughtful, loving homes for these special pups. Here’s what’s next: 🐾 Temperament testing will take place around 6 weeks of age, and I’ll reach out to each of you individually afterward so we can begin the matching process together. 🐾 The puppies will be ready to head to their new homes around May 11th, and I’ll keep you posted on go-home dates and pickup planning as we get closer. 🐾 In the meantime, I’ll continue sharing milestone updates (like first baths, first wobbly steps, and lots of puppy cuteness 🐶💐) so you can follow along as your pup grows! Feel free to reach out with any questions at any point. I’m here to help and support you through every step of the journey! With gratitude, Rachelle

About Akari
Akari is a stunning deep red Golden known for her exceptional structure, intelligence, and sensitivity. She holds an International Championship title and has earned her CGC, ATT, VHMP, and VSWB titles, a reflection of her confidence, trainability, and steady temperament. Her pedigree carries some of the breed’s most influential working and performance bloodlines, including: FC AFC OTCH FTCH TNT’s Explosion Am UD FDHF OS HRCH Amos Moses of Goldstrike FTCH Cedarpond’s R.V. Am *** OS Can. FDHF Influences from Topbrass and Brassfire performance lines Beyond titles and lineage, Akari brings something rare and important to our program: genetic diversity. Her VGL and Embark testing show a low COI and uncommon DLA haplotypes, making her an excellent outcross candidate for the health of future generations. What we love most about Akari is her balance: she has the drive and heart to excel in performance and training, yet she is also sweet, intuitive, and deeply connected to her people. These qualities make her not only a joy to live with but also a cornerstone of our mission to produce Goldens who are healthy, versatile, and devoted companions.

Everything went well! Rachelle was so helpful, honest, and very much good at connecting us with our fur baby! I only committed to a puppy the more and more Rachelle and I were on the same page. She set us up with way more than I expected from a breeder - I am grateful to have discovered Chrysus!
