I'm Chris P., the breeder behind Cream of the Crop Goldens Michigan located in Edwardsburg, MI. Our family is so excited to share the passion that we have for the wonderful breed of English Cream Golden Retrievers, with your family. Our love for animals and especially English Cream Golden Retrievers stems from my passion for being a veterinarian. I enjoy canine reproduction work and have been performing this kind of work for the past 14 years.
Q. & A. with Chris
Why did you start breeding?
As a veterinarian, I enjoy canine reproduction and through this work, I met a client who introduced me to the Golden Retriever breed. My family and I fell in love with them and we were asked to partner with this client three years ago. Our love for this breed continues to grow and recently we have established our own breeding business and want to be responsible in our decisions.
What makes your program special?
Our desire is to produce healthy puppies that are genetically, physically, and socially sound. We also strive to screen those that are seeking a home for our puppies through various interactions with them prior to placing the puppies in their care. We place an emphasis on educating the new owners on how to care for their new puppy, from nutrition to training, and immunizations.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
