I'm Samantha C., the breeder behind Dark Knight German Shepherds located in Pennsylvania. We offer great quality, titled, health and temperament-tested German Shepherds from both working and show-line parents. Our focus is to better the breed. All of our breeding dogs participate in some sort of sports or trials. All of our breeding dogs are also health tested through OFA for hips and elbows, Embarked for genetics, and DM tested. We pride ourselves on knowing we produce dogs from breed-worthy parents.
Q. & A. with Samantha
Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding after I got my very first German Shepherd, Zeus, from a breeder. He was a handful, to say the least! However, he taught me a lot about what German Shepherds need to be fulfilled in their life! And when I started doing dog sports with him, I fell in love with the breed and from then on wanted to better the breed by titling, training, and health testing my own line of GSDs!
What makes your program special?
We strive to make sure our dogs are not only of great quality but of great health and temperament. All of our pups will leave us confident in their own little puppy brains and ready to take on the world!
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include stock and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable, black, black and tan, bi-color, and black and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
