Meet the breeder

I'm Missy A., the breeder behind Edge of Time Border Collies located in Camden, SC. I was raised with Border Collies , they are the only dog for me! I love to share my love for them with others, and am extremely selective about my dogs having the perfect mix of personality and brains. I breed for "family pets" , but also working dogs. I will help lead you to the right pup.

Q. & A. with Missy

  • Why did you start breeding?

I grew up on a sheep farm and always had Border Collies. My grandparents were Veterinarians ,and taught me a great deal about caring for and raising animals. I have always loved the "farming lifestyle " , and enjoy breeding the best examples of the breed and providing families with amazing new family members !
  • What makes your program special?

Farming is a lifestyle for me. Raising only the best examples of the breed, to continue their legacy, and pass on good traits, is very important to me. Raising these dogs is a passion, not my income. I give back thousands a year to local shelters and to Christian Charities. I stand behind my dogs and work hard to make sure they are placed in good homes and I stand behind my dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include blue merle, red merle, black, blue, red, and sable. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
