Meet the breeder

I'm Erica F., the breeder behind Ej Samoyeds located in Spring Grove, IL. Ej Samoyeds has been a cornerstone of the Samoyed breed for 25 years. Winners don't just happen. It takes a well-bred, healthy Samoyed to rise to the challenge in competition or in the home. That's where we come in. Our Samoyeds excel in conformation, obedience, sledding, agility, and as wonderful family pets.

Q. & A. with Erica

  • Why did you start breeding?

25 years ago, our love for Samoyeds inspired us to start breeding so that other homes would have the loving, exciting experience that we do. Our breeding program focuses on maintaining the unique characteristics specific to Samoyeds while striving to produce puppies of superior structure, athleticism, and ability.
  • What makes your program special?

Since the beginning, our dogs have excelled in obedience, sledding, agility, and as wonderful family pets. Our dogs are raised in our home and are a huge part of our family. We take great pride in the Samoyed heritage and history! We raise our puppies using the Puppy Culture program. We believe that gives them a solid foundation for their owners to build and train on.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
