Meet the breeder

I'm Kara E., the breeder behind Enos Ranch Springer Spaniels located in Canyonville, OR. Sir Hunter is amazing, fun, energetic, laid back, and great in the field! (bench/field) He is genetic tested clear! We just flew to the east coast for our L/W European female! All pups will be born on our family ranch! They'll be socialized with kids, livestock, and started on the sit command!

Q. & A. with Kara

  • Why did you start breeding?

My family is a young and active group! We go hunting, my kids do agility and showing in 4-H, and we wanted a great family dog! I have been working and training dogs off and on for over 20 years. After much research, we finally settled on the ESS! This breed literally does it all! ♡ These dogs are laid back and easily trained! They love to please, work, relax, and even protect.
  • What makes your program special?

We aren't geared to just breed dogs... We are a working ranch family. We don't breed dogs as a living! My kids all help with the animals at our home and my son, 10 years old, wants to be a Junior Showman! We don't have a litter every year if we don't have enough people interested. We just love the breed and want others to love it as well.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black white and tan, liver white and tan, liver and white, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
