I'm Laura D., the breeder behind Folklaur Tibetan Spaniels located in Bangor, PA. We’re looking for individuals and families who will continue to love and spoil our puppies as much as we do! Over the years we’ve learned valuable methods for socializing our puppies. Each litter has a clean and safe environment to learn and grow so they have the best chance of becoming amazing family members!

What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include white, silver sable, sable, gold, cream, black and tan, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Laura
Laura has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $1,500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,400 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Price is commensurate with the pups being the offspring of both AKC Champions with OFA CHIC Health Clearances, and Multiple Generations of AKC title holders. They are Born in my bedroom and raised in my home. The Litter is AKC Registered and an individual AKC Registration Application is provided. They are Microchipped and a Microchip Registration Application is provided. Pups have had a Veterinary visit which includes a physical exam, their 1st Vaccinations and a Veterinary Health Certificate. Pups have had dewclaws removed and have been dewormed. They were socialized, raised with enrichment toys, have begun potty training and individual overnight crate training. A 60+ page Folklaur Handbook is provided with a copy of their 4-Generation Pedigree, parents OFA health clearances, current and future veterinary vaccination schedule, feeding and training articles and more. Contract/Bill of Sale. Price is determined by whether a puppy is being sold as a Pet on AKC Limited Registration or as a Show/Breeding Prospect on FULL AKC Registration.”

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel, PRA3, Tibetan Terrier and Spaniel Type
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
