I'm Nataly R., the breeder behind Foothills Cattery & Kennel located in Brave, PA. Our dogs are bred for health and physical strength with a strong focus on good temperament. They are raised with our large family (lots of noise, playtime, and love from our children and adults), other dogs, cats, and livestock. Located in Pennsylvania, we offer local pickup and shipping.

Why did you start breeding?
We began breeding dachshunds twenty years ago as a means of preserving the breed. Dachshunds, like many breeds, have suffered from fickleness in show judging and inexperienced breeding. We chose to breed for health and physical strength so that this amazing breed can continue in usefulness and vigor.What makes your program special?
Our dogs are bred with an emphasis on health and good temperament. With these goals in mind, we choose disease-free breeding stock with good physical structure and sweet disposition and expose their young to people, other dogs, and a variety of different animals and environments.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat types in your program?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Nataly has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes puppy guarantee according to the PA Puppy Lemon Law, vet-check, vaccination, deworming, and a puppy pack containing puppy food, favorite toy, a blankie. The deposit is generally non-refundable but we have recently chosen to evaluate requests for deposit returns on a case-by-case basis.”
