I'm Jessica A., the breeder behind Happily Ever After Cavaliers located in West Sacramento, CA. Hello! I'm Jessica and welcome to Happily Ever After Cavaliers! We breed for beauty, brains, and brawn. We breed as closely to breed standard as possible. Health, temperament, and conformation are important and what we strive for. Socialization is also important for an easy transition.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I grew up riding horses and going to rodeos. I also went to dog shows and did rally and agility with my family’s German Shepherds. I wanted a smaller breed and fell in love with Cavaliers.

  • What makes your program special?

    We focus on spending our undivided attention with the puppies and work with them on training, socialization, etc from birth until they go to their new families. I am also a stay-at-home mom, so my puppies and dogs are not left alone.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include blenheim, ruby, black and tan, and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

  • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
