Meet the breeder

I'm Cinnamon H., the breeder behind Hoekema Homestead Goldens located in Arlington, WA. We are dedicated to top quality care of our dogs and to all our pups before they get into your hearts and homes. Great awareness and special attention is always put into socialization, health and training. Every dog is fully genetic, OFA & Pennhip tested and cleared so we can continue to offer the healthiest pups possible.

Q. & A. with Cinnamon

  • Why did you start breeding?

My upbringing was very special to me and taught me to connect not only to the people around me but to my animals on a different level. I always knew dogs were going to be part of my life to some degree. I started off with Obedience training with my own dogs then eventually with others. That grew to more connections with others that lead me to strengthen my program here with passion.
  • What makes your program special?

I work extremely close with each and every family I take on, putting special attention to get to know exactly what each family wants and needs. As I spend countless hours with my dogs, interacting, sleepless whelping nights, environmental desensitization, and many various training methods. I take puppy matching very seriously and will make sure you have the perfect fit in your future pup.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
