Connie J.

Breeder of Pomeranians

Meet the breeder

I'm Connie J., the breeder behind Jewert Poms located in Spooner, WI.

Q. & A. with Connie

  • Why did you start breeding?

We have a background breeding papillons, but after our last sweet girl passed away, our daughters talked us into getting poms. We fell in love with our silly little poms, and so it began. They live in our house and are like children to us. We've done alot of research, and take care to choose healthy dogs for our program, with no known genetic defects.
  • What makes your program special?

We don't just throw 2 dogs together. We consider many things before a breeding. Health and temperament for starters, coat, body, size, bite, knees, and many other considerations. All of this starts with a thorough vet exam. We always keep our minds open to newer research and continue to learn and grow as we go.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include chocolate parti, cream, white, chocolate sable, wolf sable, chocolate merle, chocolate and tan, black and tan, and beaver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
