I'm Maurissa S., the breeder behind Kallie’s Kennel located in Columbus, OH. Our dogs are bred in our home and handled daily by both adults and children. They are raised in a family environment with kids ranging from 3 to 15 years old, as well as alongside our 6-year-old Goldendoodle. We take great pride in the health of our dogs and ensure that all parents and puppies receive thorough health checks.   • Why did you start breeding?

    My father bred Pit Bulls while I was growing up, so I have been surrounded by dogs my entire life. Breeding and caring for dogs comes naturally to me, and it’s a passion deeply rooted in my upbringing. We take pride in continually learning and improving so we can become better, more knowledgeable breeders every day.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our puppies are raised around children from the moment they are born. They receive daily interaction, playtime, and socialization, and they are free to explore both our home and our securely fenced backyard each day.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Maurissa

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $4,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
