I'm Maria R., the breeder behind Laritza Rodriguez located in Frederick, MD. My dogs are bred to preserve the lines, good health and temperaments. I only breed my females twice and have one maximum two litters a year. My breeding stock is health tested. My puppies are raised with Puppy Culture to socialize and start potty training as soon as two weeks of age.
Q. & A. with Maria
Why did you start breeding?
I love the breed and consider preserving the breed as described in the FCI and AKC standard as much as possible. Every breed has a job and a purpose. I love the terrier in yorkies, at the same time they are affectionate and loving. I enjoy whelping and caring for moms and new pups.
What makes your program special?
My program is low volume, only one or two litters a year. With great attention to health, wellbeing and care for the dogs. My puppies are raised underfoot to ensure that transition to their new homes is seamless.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are blue and gold. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
