Q. & A. with Barbara
Why did you start breeding?
We have been breeding since 1974, and started showing in 1990. Prior to showing Chihuahuas both our sons successfully showed quarter horses. In fact our kennel name Legend was used out of love for one our horses, Legend, whom we raised as a colt.
What makes your program special?
We are home to many special Chihuahuas who have been recognized over the years for their accomplishments. One of whom, Ch Legend's Oh Maya Ain't We Bad, took home the title of "Major Win Specialty" at the Nashville Chihuahua Club in 2018. We are also AKC Breeders of Merit.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
