I'm Jennifer W., the breeder behind LydyBug Bulldogs located in Erie, PA. We occasionally have a litter of puppies once or twice a year.
We believe Bulldogs should be health tested prior to breeding to improve the breed. We conduct genetic screenings & OFA certifications to assure that the sire & dam are compatible. If we decide to use an outside stud we are careful to only work with breeders who take the same precautions & also believe in keeping the Bulldog standard.
Q. & A. with Jennifer
Why did you start breeding?
I grew up showing horses & my parents raised Dobermans. My husband & I both have always loved Bulldogs & when we got our first I decided to begin showing with the AKC. My husband enjoyed going to shows with me & began handling as well. Our daughter adores our Bulldogs & we plan to get her started in junior showmanship when she is a little older.
What makes your program special?
We think of our past puppies as members of our extended family & enjoy staying in contact with new owners. We will be there for every step of your Bulldog adventure & are available for any needs you have for the life of your new best friend.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red, fawn, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
