I'm Julie P., the breeder behind Maggie's Cavapoo Puppies located in Bourbonnais, IL. Cavapoos are known as loyal, obedient and family friendly dogs. Ideal for their temperament and trainability. The parents are our pets, pups are raised in our home. We cherish our puppies from birth up until they leave our arms to snuggle into yours.
Q. & A. with Julie
Why did you start breeding?
16 years ago we were breeding AKC bichon frise and just loved it. We thought we were done, but fell in love with the Cavapoo breed (mix between King Charles Cavalier and Poodle).
What makes your program special?
We only own 2 dogs. Mom (Maggie) and Dad (Romeo) the puppies are raised in our home. Since we don't have dozens of dogs, we're able to give then a lot of one on one attention.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Maggie's puppies are porky and happy! Growing like weeds and getting cuter by the day, if that's even possible. 🌿🖤🤍🤎🌿 They went to the vet yesterday and received a clean bill of health and received their 1st puppy shot.

We are feeding the puppies Authority puppy food (a PetSmart brand) we will send you pup home with some food. You'll want to keep them on that for the 1st couple of days in their new homes. Then if you switch brands, you should mix the new brand with the Authority gradually until it's gone. Otherwise the puppy will get diarrhea.

The puppies are doing great on Authority dog food (it's a PetSmart brand) I'm currently feeding them dry food for breakfast, canned at lunchtime, and dry for dinner. I'll be sending the puppies home with some dry and canned. Please continue to feed them the same food for the 1st few days. Then if/when you change brands to so gradually at first more Authority, then slowly more new food-less Authority. But please remember, a good quality food can have a life long affect on their health and abruptly changing brands can affect their digestive system at any age.
