“I Do Not accept deposits until the puppies are 4 weeks old. At 4 weeks old I accept a non refundable $500 deposit. Should the vet find something at 8 weeks about the health of the puppy that will affect the health or life of the puppy,I will disclose the vets findings to the buyer and offer a full refund, reduction in price, or different puppy, depending on condition and availability. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
