Q. & A. with Shannon
Why did you start breeding?
Our journey into breeding began with our love for the Basset Hound breed and a desire to preserve their temperament, health, and unique charm. After learning more about responsible breeding practices and the importance of health, structure, and proper socialization, we chose to build a small, ethical program focused on quality over quantity.
What makes your program special?
Our commitment to ethical breeding, hands-on puppy raising, and responsible placement. We prioritize health, temperament, and education in every decision. Our puppies are raised in our home, handled daily, and thoughtfully socialized to promote confident, well-adjusted companions. We emphasize matching each puppy with the right family and providing lifelong support.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
