Meet the breeder

I'm Alan M., the breeder behind Nacimiento Golden Dogs located in Paso Robles, CA. We offer excellent companion dogs that are loving loyal and healthy. They are strong dogs with active but calm attitudes. Our dogs are genetically diverse and live the best of both worlds. The world of loving owners caring for them and the world of the pack where they socialize with each other and learn from each other. They are never alone. They walk everyday on two acres and run free on 3 acres.

Q. & A. with Alan

  • Why did you start breeding?

I've always taken care of animals and love Golden Retrievers. I want my Golden's to go to homes with the same love and appreciation. Have been raising Golden's for 21 years.
  • What makes your program special?

I don't think I am anymore special than anyone else. I love making people happy when their Golden chooses them for their forever family. I negotiate with families that badly want a Golden but can't afford the price. Sometimes you can see their need for the love of a golden and it is fun to share.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include dark golden, golden, and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
