I'm Renee I., the breeder behind Paradiso Cane Corso located in Edgewater, FL. We proudly carry on the traditional Cane Corsos used as livestock guardians, personal guard dogs, K-9 officers, and family pets. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament with a focus on conformation, athleticism, and intelligence. These are true working dogs. We are dedicated to providing our families with wonderful, healthy, loving guardians for farms, homes, and professional K-9 trainers.
Q. & A. with Renee
Why did you start breeding?
I grew up on a farm and my family raised animals which included hunting dogs since this is how our family was fed. I also worked as a Veterinarian Technician.
What makes your program special?
My current program is from the "Original" Cane Corso that was nearly extinct in the 1980s. I have steered away from the "New Age" Boxer Corso that many are breeding today. These are larger dogs, they still remain within the "standard" but are on the top end of the scale. My Corso dogs are still being used as farm guardians which they have been bred to do for centuries.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, black brindle, fawn, gray, gray brindle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
