Meet the breeder

I'm Anne H., the breeder behind Radiance Labradors located in Boulder County, CO. We are Labrador enthusiasts who participate in showing, hunting, obedience, and raising well-bred Labradors as family companions. We breed Labrador Retrievers that conform to the National Club breed standard in type, temperament, and the three acceptable colors of Black, Yellow, and Chocolate.

Q. & A. with Anne

  • Why did you start breeding?

After purchasing a Labrador puppy to show, it brought me to the world of purebred dogs. I became active in training and showing Labradors. The training piece really piqued my interest, and from there, I knew I could have a knowledgeable breeding program. Just as important as breeding dogs for myself is the awareness of what type of Lab makes a great family companion.
  • What makes your program special?

I am able to devote most of my time to breeding and raising our Labradors. Coming from a training background and having worked with thousands of dog owners, I have an emotional and knowledgeable understanding of what makes a successful family companion. I offer support throughout the lives of the dogs we've bred, as well as beyond to new dogs "my" families acquire, even when not bred by us.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
