I'm Sheri T., the breeder behind San Diego Boxers located in San Diego, CA. We are committed to always responsibly breeding with the best interest of our Boxer's health and longevity at the forefront. Raising puppies has been so much fun, although we take our role in raising them seriously. Breeding has helped us share the joy of our dogs with other families & individuals.

Why did you start breeding?
I rescued a boxer. I fell in love with the breed. I love how they are with children. I wanted to make a difference in the length of time we get to spend with them on earth. We health & temperament test each adult before they are bred.What makes your program special?
I have been working with Boxers for over 35 years. I have gained a lot of knowledge. I continue to educate myself on the advancements and opportunities to better the health and life span of our Boxers.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Sheri
Sheri has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $1,500 deposit and between -$300 - $1,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“This includes the puppy, microchip, tail docked by the vet as well as 1st shot, deworming. Our puppies go home with an actual bag of food, toys & more. Puppies are vet checked. Contact me anytime. Deposit is transferable.”

Good level
San Diego Boxers reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Boxers.
Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Temperament Test
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy (ARVC)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
