Q. & A. with Karen
Why did you start breeding?
It started with showing the dogs, we got our first sam in 1981, started showing loved that sport, finished a couple of our girls then in 1985 we planned our first litter...
What makes your program special?
Stormcloud Samoyeds is located in the state of Washington. Our home lays on ten acres on top of a hill just a few miles north of Vancouver. It is very pretty and quiet here, making it an ideal place for our kennel. Some of our property is still wooded, while some has been cleared. My husband Mike, being a jogger, uses the cleared area for running and is usually accompanied by some of our dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
