Meet the breeder

I'm Courtney O., the breeder behind Sweet Magnolia Doodles and The Magnolia Golden Retrievers located in Lagrange, OH. We’re an ethical breeder of Goldendoodles and Golden Retrievers established in 2019. I specialize in healthy, happy, temperament-tested puppies. I test and clear all parent dogs before entering my program. Puppies are raised on a curriculum to best evaluate each. Our dogs and puppies are raised in a loving family environment.

Q. & A. with Courtney

  • Why did you start breeding?

A little backstory of why I started this journey. We’ve had Goldens in my family a combined over 30 years; they’re our heart breed. I started breeding to breed dogs that heal hearts and change lives. I wanted to be the breeder I had such a hard time finding. I wanted to help families find their new family members they can purchase with confidence and have a stable, comforting companion.
  • What makes your program special?

I want to make health/temperament the focus of my program. I desire to match dogs with their families based on individual needs and puppies' personalities. I take great pride in the work I'm doing and the desire to serve my clients to the best of my abilities while honoring my puppies. Puppies will be exposed to Early Neurological Stimulation, Early Scent Introduction, and various courses until they go home. I look forward to connecting with you!
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Goldendoodle puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Golden Retriever puppies include golden and light golden. Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, red, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
