I'm Teena and James L., the breeder behind T&J Lovable Longhaired AKC Dachshunds located in Mesa, AZ. My husband and I have had many dachshunds in our family through the years and they have brought us so much joy. We decided to begin breeding in 2018 because we hope to share that same joy with many others. Our dachshunds are our family and puppies are raised in home with only love and great care.
Q. & A. with Teena and James
Why did you start breeding?
When I was a little girl, I had my first dachshund named Heidi, who I adored. I've had other breeds over the years but dachshunds found their way back into my life. I love how affectionate, loyal, and clever their personalities can be and we began breeding to add more puppies to our family. We decided to continue breeding so others might enjoy these adorable, fun dogs in their families as well.
What makes your program special?
Our senior male dachshund, Brody, is sired from AKC Grand Champion Bloodlines and has produced many beautiful puppies across several litters. Our junior male, Finley, and our females, Brianna and Brylee, are all AKC Registered. All breeding is done in our home and our pets are members of the family. We treat them with great care, love, and respect. Their welfare is of the utmost importance to us.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, gray (blue) and cream, blue and cream, and black and cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
