That's My Peculiar Puppy

Meet the breeder

I'm Stefanie L., the breeder behind That's My Peculiar Puppy located in Oroville, WA. All of my pets live in the home with me and are only bred a select few times before they are spayed or neutered. At that time they either retire with me or into a home with a loving family. I've raised animals for over 35 years and learn every year better ways to provide healthy and happy pets.

Q. & A. with Stefanie

  • Why did you start breeding?

My parents bred Springers when I was young. I've always had a love for animals and learning about genetics to produce the best of the best. I didn't start out knowing or doing things right, but every year I have grown and learned what will make me a better breeder.
  • What makes your program special?

I give individual attention to each litter. I strive to produce only one at a time so that I can learn each pup and place them in the right homes. They are raised underfoot until the day they leave.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our Chinese Crested puppies include powderpuff and hairless coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Chinese Crested puppies include white and black, white, slate, black white and tan, pink and slate, pink, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

We are so in love with our EJ! Stephanie was awesome and kept us updated until we were able to pick him up. She sent loads of pictures and videos. Would definitely adopt another puppy from her!

From the first photo I was totally sold on Eclipse. Stefanie kept me well informed and sent photos almost daily. Transport was kindly arranged to my door and Eclipse arrived safely. I am glad Stefanie will be a resource for Eclipse's lifetime.
