That's My Peculiar Puppy

Wilson is visibly a brindle mantle. However it appears his genetic say he is a harlequin. Unfortunate for me because I didn't plan to breed spot to spot when I purchased him as a stud for my Harlequin female. For this reason, Wilson will be available to a home as a pet or as a stud for their program. If you are interested please reach out. Unfortunately I have had major difficulties in training this dog. He is not house trained and I got to a point where I couldn't handle it any longer. When I crate him if the crate is too big he will poop and pee in it and eat it! Another thing that I have not been able to break him of. If the crate is small enough he generally doesn't go to the bathroom in it. Any happily goes into a crate. I think this all stems from the Six-Day trip he had to take to get to me. He arrived with a urinary tract infection and I think that just kind of snowballed into something else. He is dodgy and shy. I thought he would be a confident dog but something weird has happened and he kind of hops away from me and it's probably because I am a very loud person and I do yell at him because he tries to attack my cats. I would say I'm home without cats are small animals would be best. However, he has been around my smaller dogs and seems to do okay with them. I wouldn't recommend him being near tiny dogs without supervision. He has not been around children. Pretty much he has not left my property. I don't know if he'll ride in a car well. I took him on a couple walks early on when I had him but have not since. He is smart enough to learn. I personally just have not worked with him. And that's all on me. So he is definitely a work in process. He's a sweet dog and wants nothing but to be cuddled and loved on.
