The Dogs of Working Aussies Homestead

Jordyn K.

Breeder of Australian Shepherds

Meet the breeder

I'm Jordyn K., the breeder behind The Dogs of Working Aussies Homestead located in Dunn, NC. We love the Australian Shepherd for their awesome personalities, silliness, loyalty, versatility, and love for life. We have a small homestead and raise our puppies both in the home and around our 6 other species of animals.

Q. & A. with Jordyn

  • Why did you start breeding?

Well...it all started with one Aussie, then two because we loved the first so much. We fell in love with this amazing breed and wanted to share this breed with others. As our program has grown, it has also changed and we now pursue maintaining the history of the breed and the pedigrees that made the Australian Shepherd what it is today.
  • What makes your program special?

We focus on raising puppies perfect for both family homes and working farms. Our socializing program helps set them up for success from started in potty training and leash manners to respecting other species of animals.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
