Q. & A. with Ellen
Why did you start breeding?
I was showing my first dog, a Basenji, and decided I wanted to breed her to the top Basenji at the time. Four Champions resulted.
What makes your program special?
Being retired, I have the time to really get to know each of my dogs, their temperaments, and their shortcomings and virtues. This helps me make pretty educated decisions about how to breed each dog for the betterment of the breed.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
