I'm Lillian B., the breeder behind Tye River Havanese located in Lovingston, VA. I care about the Havanese breed and do everything in my power to breed sound dogs to ensure healthy and happy puppies. My puppies’ health and wellbeing are my main priority. Each puppy is raised, and loved indoors to ensure health, happiness, and harmony at the start of its life. I use Puppy Culture for early development and start on crate and potty training.

Why did you start breeding?
I started raising Havanese in 2016 with my beautiful girl, Belle. I focus on raising happy and healthy Havanese puppies that are well adjusted for companionship and a family lifestyle. I'm so excited to share my lovely puppies with you!What makes your program special?
I do everything I can to ensure my puppies have what they need to develop into healthy and happy dogs. In my breeding program, good health and temperament are essential, and cuteness and love are guaranteed. I look forward to connecting with you and your family!Where do your breeding dogs live?

Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

We are so impressed with our puppy from Lilly. The time she spent with him on training before we got him shows. Our puppy already knew how to play fetch, picked up stairs quick, and most importantly already loved the crate. Lilly gave us information on each of the puppies personalities to make sure we chose a puppy who would be a good fit for our other dog. She met us half way for pick up day. Lilly shows her dogs in competitions and really cares about breeding good quality Havanese. We are so happy to have worked with this AKC certified breeder.
