I'm Anne V., the breeder behind Vargo Chihuahuas located in Sparta, MI. We are a small breeder and exhibitor and have been showing dogs since 2004. Our primary focus is on breeding sound, healthy, well-adjusted Chihuahuas with excellent temperaments that conform to the AKC standard.
Q. & A. with Anne
Why did you start breeding?
I have been showing AKC Chihuahuas for over 20 years. I have finally found a Chihuahua that exemplifies the breed type, as well as more settled into my career and home.
What makes your program special?
All of our Chihuahuas are raised in the home and very versatile. They hike, kayak, show in conformation and are great family pets. I am a licensed veterinarian and this makes their health very important to me.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
