I'm Jacquelline M., the breeder behind Vom Marischal Working Lines German Shepherd Dogs located in Modoc County, CA. Puppies will be high drive working dogs. They will do best if they have jobs, or at least a few levels of group training. Pleased be experienced with German shepherd dogs.
Their dam is a search dog but not certified because we live too far away from any training. Videos available of her working. Out of her last litter, one puppy is training in personal protection, one in multiple disciplines including PTSD service dog, and four are training in Search and Rescue. Their father, one grandfather, and one half-sister are a working sheriff's department K9s too. These dogs are highly social, raised with ENS and exposure to as much as I can give them without risking exposure to disease.
My lines have been raw fed for seven generations. They will leave with all DHLPP vaccinations; they are wormed and microchipped. They are crate trained and potty trained, have good recalls, good ball drive, and beginning obedience is started. I breed for working conformation, health, strength, drive, and mental stability. Both parents have hip and elbow clearances. Their father is DM clear and their mother is a DM carrier, so none of the puppies will be affected by DM. Videos of all dogs are available. Apartment homes will not be considered.
Q. & A. with Jacquelline
Why did you start breeding?
I had my first German shepherd when I was 19, and have researched, trained, and lived with the breed ever since. My current puppies are the 7th generation of my breeding program.
What makes your program special?
My dogs are raw fed and naturally reared. They are well socialized in order to display the best qualities of a German shepherd in any environment.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Breeder-Reported Testing
Great level
Vom Marischal Working Lines German Shepherd Dogs reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for German Shepherds.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Full Embark Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
