Meet the breeder

I'm the breeder behind Whimsical Treasure Corgis located in Hickory, NC. All our puppies come pre-spoiled, socialized, vet checked, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations and deworming. Our puppies are a part of our life every single day until they go to their forever homes! We are accepting waiting list applications for our upcoming Summer/Fall 2025 litters.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    It all started with our first Pembroke Welsh Corgi and we were inspired to share the love of the Corgi breed! We offer happy, socialized, and healthy puppies. It is extremely important to us to be honest and transparent about our breeding program. Our puppies and their families happiness comes first. The goal is to provide only the best experience adding puppies to their new families' homes.
  • What makes your program special?

    All of our puppies are dearly loved and hand raised with care. We focus on one litter at a time and put 100% into each individual puppy. When our puppies leave our home; they come loved and pre-spoiled, up-to-date with age appropriate vaccinations and deworming, 24/7 lifetime breeder support, a 2 Year Health Guarantee, started on potty/crate training/grooming, and a puppy starter kit and gift bag.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies include fawn, red, sable, blue, and black and tan. American Corgi puppies include fawn merle, fawn and white, brindle merle and white, brindle and white, black and white, red merle and white, white merle, sable merle and white, sable and white, red and white, fawn, blue merle and white, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Elizabeth

Elizabeth has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $214 non-refundable deposit and between $1,498 - $3,786 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Our puppy price range is the same for both males and females. Please refer to our website for specified puppy pricing. Puppy deposits are first come, first serve. We only accept deposits after our litters are born and we have a confirmation on the number of available puppies. We do not take any payments in advance.”

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • PRA, Cone-Rod Dystrophy 3 (PRA-crd3), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Orivet Genetics, Full Breed Profile

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
