I'm Stephanie L., the breeder behind Whispering Oaks Bernedoodles located in Nacogdoches, TX. Our dogs are bred and raised for health, temperament, and intelligence. We strive to produce the best overall pets and family members. We raise our puppies so they are set up for success in their new homes and use our "in-house" veterinarian to ensure the best possible health of our puppies.
Q. & A. with Stephanie
Why did you start breeding?
As a veterinarian for 26 years and a pet lover for many more, I have helped bring so many puppies into the world, but never any of our own. I've watched the joy and excitement that puppies bring to their new families, including our family. We love our two doodles so much that we decided to raise Bernedoodle puppies.
What makes your program special?
We are not "breeders" in the typical sense. Our focus is healthy pets, not trendy colors or fads. We understand the joy that healthy pets bring to a family, but have also seen the consequences people experience due to poor quality puppies. Our purpose is to breed healthy fur-babies that will enrich the lives of their people for years to come.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are mini size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
