Meet the breeder

I'm Kelly S., the breeder behind White Sand Golden Retrievers located in Headland, AL. Our dogs are imported from Europe from some of the top kennels. We have been to Europe several times to attend dog shows in Holland, England and Hungary. Our favorite show to attend was Crufts in England. We strive to produce top quality puppies known for excellent health and temperament. We have several certified therapy dogs in the United States.

Q. & A. with Kelly

  • Why did you start breeding?

I fell in love with the breed and decided to start researching lines out of Europe and visited several times to determine which lines were known for health, structure and temperament. We hold our breeding practices to a high standard and want to improve with every litter.
  • What makes your program special?

We have puppy families come back for 2nd and 3rd puppies. We come highly recommended by our puppy families and they know we have high standards. Our dogs come from fantastic lineages and they are known for their calm temperaments and health.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
