Q. & A. with Betty
Why did you start breeding?
We decided to get into breeding when we discovered that the Collie dog was not being bred with their eye health in mind. All our dogs are normal eyed and/or noncarriers proven by DNA testing.
What makes your program special?
We treat our Collies like family and do our best to find the perfect home for them. They are bred to AKC standard but more importantly, bred for healthy eyes, hips and bones and, of course, the gentle loving personality. Our Collies have grown up to become Therapy Dogs, Service Dogs, herding dogs and most of all, beloved pets. We breed for beauty, brains, and health.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
