Meet the breeder

I'm Amanda M., the breeder behind Yuki Ookami Show Kennel located in Heppner, OR. We are a small show kennel in the Northeast. We show in AKC and UKC. We show Siberian Huskies, Schipperkes and do some handling for friends and family with other breeds.

Q. & A. with Amanda

  • Why did you start breeding?

We got into showing and breeding goes hand in hand with showing. We breed to get our next show dog.
  • What makes your program special?

I think any reputable breeder has the same or similar program. It is all about improving the breed.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Siberian Husky puppies include red and white, gray and white, and black and white. Schipperke puppies are black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
