I'm Annmarie S., the breeder behind Shiann Poodles located in Myrtle Beach, SC. Our puppies are completely vetted before they go to their new homes. They are seen by a board certified opthamologist for their eyes. They are vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. Our puppies are groomed weekly to insure they are used to being groomed. All our adult dogs are champions.

Why did you start breeding?
I started with German Shepherd Dogs in the early 80s and the Poodle in 2006. I am a groomer and love working with the Poodle.What makes your program special?
We go the extra mile to make sure that our dogs are free of all genetic defects.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include apricot, black, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Annmarie partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Neonatal Encephalopathy with Seizures (NEwS), Chondrodystrophy and IVDD Risk (CDDY-IVDD), Full Embark Panel, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I), Chondrodysplasia/Dwarfism, DNA Profile
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
