I'm Mike W., the breeder behind Winksmore Dachshunds located in Westville, OK. I offer top-quality Dachshund puppies for families who share the same love and passion that I do for these lovely companions. I want to make the transition from my loving home to yours as seamless as possible by giving personal attention to each little pup to ensure it is well-rounded and prepared to excel in its forever home.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I started exhibiting prior to breeding. It was several years into showing dogs, gaining massive education, and careful study that I bred my first dachshund litter under the careful guidance of well rounded mentors. Since then I have followed all advice they shared with me, follow current education and practices in my breeding. I only breed to further my line of dachshund and continue a show line. Generally I only plan for 1 litter a year at most, that gives me a year to find the best pairing, research for countless hours and make the best decision I possibly can to breed healthy, happy animals.

  • What makes your program special?

    I think there are many special programs. I strive to make the best genetically matched pairs, research health, disposition, and many other traits. I health test and do not breed my girls early in life so they can fully mature and be ready, after their testing and completed A.K.C. Championship.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include between $2,000 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
