Why did you start breeding?
We got into breeding for the love of Golden Retrievers, the desire to help improve the breed, and to have the ability to share this indescribable love with others.
What makes your program special?
Our puppies are raised in the home of our amazing Program Manager Lini Reading. Lini's life has been centered around dogs from a very young age. We are truly blessed with Lini's service as our breeding program manager here at Montana Mist. Lini takes extreme care and pride in whelping, caring for, socializing, beginning training, loving, and helping match our pups to their perfect forever home.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Montana Mist has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $500 refundable deposit and $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
